I'm beginning to understand something

I’m beginning to understand something The picture is the introduction by Charles Bukowski to Ask the dust written by John Fante . I bought this book on a stall eleven years ago. Many times I started to study English and I never reached big results. Currently, I practice with Duolingo for two years, also I started to use the app Elsa to exercise my pronunciation.
