I try to study
I try to study English. Or rather, I started to study it last year. Over the years I have repeatedly started studying English, the results have not been particularly brilliant: I understand a bit of written English, especially in technical manuals or in certain pages that I find on the internet, but when a text is well written I encounter many difficulties. I can understand the meaning of certain gossip pages (with a simple phrase book and a reduced vocabulary), but I find it hard to understand the meaning of the phrases in Ask the dust or The old man and the sea . Being able to read beautiful books is my main intent, well I would also like to be able to understand the dialogues of the TV series (without resorting to Italian subtitles). I certainly understand all the bad words: asshole, fuck you, fuck, motherfucker, bitch, etc.
