Paraphrasing Asterix: these Italians are crazy!

The fantasy in power today in Italy does not consider arithmetic, oh well, not even logic and - certainly - not even the sense of ridicule.

But history should have taught us that even ridiculous men can be dangerous. But why should we remember if we can blame our problems on someone else?

It seems that the many problems of Italy are caused by external factors: from the wild immigration, from the protervia of the European Union ...

Before the alleged invasion of immigrants, Italy had no problems. There were no mafia and Camorra, there was no inept political class, there was no devastation of the territory, there were no more than  1000 deaths at work every year, there was no exploitation, there was no exorbitant public debt, there was no corruption at all levels , there was no waste of public resources, there was no suffocating bureaucracy...

Italy was not heaven, perhaps.

Shit afternoon

We got up and it was raining outside, not really, but enough not to make us want to go out for a run. We lazed a little (but I would have had the opportunity to work), then we went out to see the fair: there was the usual merchandise and we only bought a printed scarf with a painting by Van Gogh and another with a print of Picasso's painting. I saw in the promotional spot of a Tv show that the population of the USA is 5% of the world population, but the prison population of the USA is 25% of the world prison population! Of course, it is not important the source because here is important how I write what I write. I do not care to have comments on the topics or my ideas, I would care to have suggestions on my English syntax, I would like help with using one verb instead of another or on avoiding a certain word. My simple text is the mirror of my simple thoughts and they are not really important: I spend much time reading newspapers online, post on social networks and I have the opportunity to improve my reasoning my approach to the world, but I write here because I hope to find a little help to improve how I write in English.
